Welcome to the Placentia Stars Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association website.  We hope you will take some time to explore these pages to find out how we can assist you in your personal and professional growth.  ABWA’s mission is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others to grow personally and professionally though leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.  

Our chapter is getting ready to celebrate its 28th Anniversary and it is our desire to reach out to our community for continued growth.  We invite you to come and be a part of this worthwhile organization!

Our special guest speaker, Carol Latham, CEO of Fashion Events
Unlimited, and an integral member of the Anaheim Lamplighters chapter of
ABWA will discuss looking professional in the workplace in just a few easy steps.
Her topic hits the market for professional working women and focuses on Scarves, a creative way to dress up your wardrobe.

Placentia Stars members and guests, plan to bring at least one of your favorite
scarves and learn some simple ways to wear it that will change the look of your
outfits. It's easier than you think! A scarf is the most versatile accessory in
your wardrobe and will add style and professionalism to your look—be here
on the 24th—don't miss it!

 The next chapter meeting will be held at our new meeting location in Placentia.
There is no fee for the meeting as we are ordering off the menu.

Meeting Policy:

All members have a standing dinner reservation.
Banquet chairperson confirms with the hotel the Wednesday before the scheduled meeting. Chapter is committed to the number confirmed with the hotel. Please remember to call & cancel your reservation or you will be billed for your attendance unless other arrangements are made in advance& confirmed with Carol Smith. Thank you for your understanding.
